PhD CLA Review

PhD CLA

Overview
Conjugated linoleic acids (CLA) are a family of at least 28 isomers of linoleic acid found mainly in the meat and dairy products derived from cud chewing mammals called ruminants. The name implies, the double bonds of CLAs are conjugated, with only one single bond between them. CLA is a linoleic fatty acid and has long been used as a weight management formula within the sports nutrition and diet industry.

CLA is an extremely popular product for dieters and over 30 clinical studies have been published investigating the effect of CLA on weight management.

CLA is ideal for:

  •                            Men and women looking for effective weight management
  •                            Athletes stacking CLA with Lean Degree for dual effect
  •                            Health conscious individuals interested in performance
  •                            Body builders, athletes and slimmer's.

Serving Size
You get 90 caps in a bottle and you take 3 a day with meals so one bottle will last you 1 month.
They are easy to swallow and it’s fairly easy to remember to take them with meals. So no excuses for missing a serving.

Taste
It doesn’t have one. It look’s like a cod liver oil soft gel capsule. It doesn’t have a nasty after taste either which is important.

Price
Anywhere between £17-£23 which is quite expensive considering you can get competing brands for around £10.

Results
CLA isn’t meant to be used on its own, you are supposed to stack it with a solid fat burner (along with a clean diet plan and kick ass exercise routine!). If you use it on its own then it’s a waste of money. If you stack it with a fat burner then you will see results. For the record I stacked this with PhD Lean Degree and Diet Whey I lost in a month just shy of 5lbs of fat and 3lbs of water weight. It’s as simple as that. CLA is proven to work but to be honest a pure CLA product is a pure CLA product.

It’s a bit like buying an Gucci suit yes its going to be better quality than a suit from Next but at the end of the day its still a suit. You’re paying for a brand name and that’s what’s happening here, if this CLA product was selling for around £10 then yes I would recommend it to everyone but I just can’t get my head around paying another £13 in some case for the PhD label.

So I think it comes down to this. If you can get it cheap, in a deal or money isn’t a consideration then yes this is a great product that will assist you in dropping some fat quickly. 7/10
